50 cent has gone under investigation conducted by the SEC for potentially manipulating stock prices.  Back in January, rapper Curtis Jackson aka 50 cent $8.7 million richer after encouraging his Twitter followers to invest in a money-losing penny stock, but now Curtis Jackson  may be in big trouble with the Security Exchange Commission.

50 Cent received 30 million shares of H&H stock in a private placement last October.  H&H owns TV goods, a direct response marketing founded by infomercial guru Kevin Harrington.

50 Cents entourage of lawyers probably told him to revise his tweet and he changed it, he Tweeted, “I own HNHI stock thoughts on it are my opinion. Talk to financial advisor about it.” And “HNHI is the right investment for me it may or may not be right for u! Do ur homework.”

A rep from the SEC couldn’t tell reporters if the SEC is actually investigating 50 cent from the profits he made from the loosing stock company he claimed would double.

In my opinion I don’t think what 50 cent did was actually illegal, the SEC will still have to investigate exactly what happened. This is normal when a potential stock manipulation has occurred but what 50 cent tweeted, really wasn’t the smartest thing the rapper should of done.

Why else would he tweet that? He’s taking advantage of his fans, what scum. Then again anyone who takes financial advice from a man who is incapable of constructing a sentence really needs to wake up. Dave Chappelle’s skit about the Wu Tang Financial Management group says it all.
