Really big money is made in the first 1 or 2 years of a normal bull market cycle. It is at that point you must recognize and full capitalizeupon the golden opportunities. Rest of the up cycle usually consist of back and fourth movement in the market averages, followed by a bear marked. The year 1965 was one of these expectations. But the strong market in the 3rd cycle was caused by the beginning of the Vietnam war.

You have to objectively evaluate overall conditions and events in the country and let the market averages tell their own story.
